Rain Rain Go Away!!

To say it rain during Brimfield would be an understatement...it pored for 2 days straight! We still had a blast..."wellies" and all! Our tent was fine, although we had a river in front of it on Wednesday and Thursday, come Friday we had a plywood bridge over the mud! We had GREAT neighbors and we all made the best of it, lots of laughs to go around. Here are a few pictures.

It is that time of year...September...summer is just about over...but we still have a few more great days ahead and what better to do than go to Brimfield and do some shopping before the season is over! We will be in our usual spot, New England Motel #64. We open bright and early on Wednesday morning the 7th at 6am! Hope to see you there!

We are a month in to the 2011 season on the SoWa Vintage Market and just like last season, we are loving it! We love the customers, crowd, the dog parade, and of course our neighbors who are all a great bunch of vendors. Sunday May 1st is the start of the SoWa season! The SoWa Vintage Market starts their second season this Sunday! We are very excited to be part of this wonderful market for the second year. Winter Happenings!

Anyone else done with the snow??? We are, but we are busy getting ready for some great winter happenings...

The SoWa Vintage Market is having 3 winter dates before it's May opening! We will be at SoWa on February 13th, March 6th and April 3rd!

The Duxbury Antique Show is March 26th & 27th. We did the show for the 1st time last year and can't wait for it this year! It is a great show with a wonderful bunch or vendors.

And of course...Brimfield...Openning day is May 12th!! We can't wait!!! We have been stocking up with the best stuff for Brimfield!

Spring is just around the corner, although it doesn't look or feel that way! We are very excited about our upcoming events and hope to see a lot of our fans at one of our winter happenings!

The SoWa Vintage Market 2010 Season has come to and end...We had a wonderful time and THANK those of you who made this 1st season such a great success! Now on to the off season things the Painted Pretty Girls do...Carole is busy making her beautiful vintage inspired glass ornaments and Kerry is recycling old sweaters into beautiful scarves. You can come check us out over the next few weekends at area Artisans Fairs. Thanks again for a great season...Stay tuned for more Painted Pretty pieces, we will keep the Flickr updated with new pieces as we get them done.

A Very Hot July Brimfield!

We arrived in Brimfield yesterday! Boy is it HOT!! Our tent is just about ready for our fields opening Wednesday, bright and early at 6am! Today we are going to finish setting up and then go out hunting for a few hours!
Hope to see some of you here...We are in the New England Motel and Antiques Field...Opening Day is Wednesday July 14th at 6am...We are there until Saturday July 17th. It looks like it's gonna be a hot one!

We weren't sure about doing July Brimfield...but we had so much fun in May that we decided to do it!! We will be in the same spot as we were in May, New England Motel & Antiques Field, spot #64! Brimfield was the best! We had such a great time and met a bunch of great people. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, and a special thank you to those of you who helped us through our first Brimfield experience, you are the best! It was a fabulous experience that we both enjoyed. We left Brimfield Friday night, got some sleep and were off to SoWa bright and early Saturday morning. Now we are on to SoWa Sundays...come check us out every Sunday (except Holidays) 10 to 4 at 460 C Harrison Ave in Bostons South End.

We are packed and ready for Brimfield! The U-haul is packed to the brim with lots of great stuff, ready for us to head out in the morning! We are hoping the weather holds out and it will be nice...we'll see. Hope to see some of you there! We had a great time at the Duxbury Spring Antiques Show! Thanks to all who came out to see us, it was a nice weekend and we met a bunch of new fans. Our next adventure will be... BRIMFIELD...we will be showing at New England Motel & Antiques Market. The field opens on Wednesday May 12th at 6am.
